Job DescriptionJob Title: Meat CutterThis role requires a highly skilled Butcher to join our team at Whole Foods Market. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of different cuts and cooking techniques of meat and seafood.Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, prepare, display, and sell meat products to our customers.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary working environment, adhering to WFM cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ensure the accuracy of signs and pricing, and perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.Requirements:
  • Working understanding of Meat team processes and procedures.
  • Excellent cutting skills with the ability to bread product down into sub-primal and retail cuts.
  • Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
    • Ability to use knives and other cutting equipment.
