Job OverviewAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. You will lead and develop Team Members, ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members. You will work closely with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining creative store layouts and product merchandising.Key Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Assist the Team Leader in analyzing sales, reports, and labor, and work to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Team Development: Lead and develop Team Members, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, and direct Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
• Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is maintained to the highest standards, including cleaning, stockroom organization, and visual merchandising.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain good vendor relationships, and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
• Special Projects: Assist the Team Leader with special projects as assigned, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and visual merchandising.Requirements
  • 6+ months of supervisory experience
  • 18+ months retail Team Member experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills
  • Capable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner
  • Product knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures
  • Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory
