**About the Role**We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team at Momosan Ramen by Morimoto in Boston, Massachusetts.The OpportunityIn this role, you will prepare food to specifications before and during unit operations. This includes measuring, portioning, and preparing all food items according to quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.Responsibilities

• Prepare food to specifications before and during unit operations
• Properly measure, portion, and prepare all food items
• Retrieve from storage areas all items necessary for preparation
• Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
• Label, date, and wrap food product, adhering to ServSafe procedures
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
• Follow all health codes and sanitation regulations
• Follow all safety, security, and kitchen procedures
• Communicate with chef for any special instructions/training
• Perform other duties as assignedQualifications
  • Prior food preparation experience preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
  • Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment ware)
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Must be available to work weekendsShift DetailsThis role is available for day shift, evening shift, and weekends.
