the role?This position will be responsible to oversee all sales
activities and account development within the assigned region. The
ideal candidate has to manage quality and consistency of product
and service delivery.What you'll do as our Area Manager?
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, increasing
their use of the line of credit, identifying and mitigating account
risk and collections pre and post default.
- Grow the portfolio by collecting new dealer applications,
including timely follow up on new leads and referrals.
- Achieve goals and performance targets as set by the company
through daily production and activities with calls and visits to
customers.
- Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and
maximize profitability through prudent account management,
controlled growth and risk mitigation.
- Educate customers on desired account and audit performance,
self-service options, and best practices and coach them to ensure
compliance with company policies and expectations.
- Collect and analyze customer financial information and various
internal reports to assess dealer performance and address with the
dealer as appropriate.
- Support the Risk department with post and pre-default risk
mitigation.
- Document notes and all activities and client interactions
through various company CRSs as required by the company.
- Create synergies throughout all Hankey Group companies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.Qualities we look for in

- Knowledge of the automotive industry (various sectors)
- Strong financial acumen with working knowledge of key financial
tools and terminology
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication
skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with
clients and collaborate with internal team members
- Strong time management skills with ability to manage
deadlines
- Strong negotiation and collection skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a remote environment
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- BA/BS in related field and 3 years of related experience; or an
equivalent combination of education and work-related
experience
- 2+ years related experience in finance, sales, account
management and/or collections required
- Travel: Greater than 25% with some overnight travel
required
- Valid driver's license required for this positionPay Rate:
- Base pay of $50,000 per year
- Guaranteed Bonus Income $2,000 a month for 4 months (month 1 is
prorated), $1,500 month 5 & 6, $1,000 month 7.
- Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program average of $450
monthly
